Before creation of Pakistan Governor in Sindh used to submit fortnightly report
to the Governor General of India. The subject matter of these reports mainly the political and administrative
situation of the province during that period. These reports contain correspondence
between Governor Sindh and other authorities including Governor General of India.
Following subjects have been covered in these reports:

- Palestine Affairs
- Harijan Movement
- Communal assembelies
- Proceedings of Sindh assembly
- Action taken under ‘Indian Press (Emergency Powers) Act 1931.
Originals of these reports are available at India Office Library, London. Copies
of the reports for the period 1937-1947 have been included in the library of Sindh
Archives for local researchers.
